Our founder, Roberto Becerra, started over 25 years ago as a helper in the painting industry. His curiosity and determination quickly moved him from apprentice to skilled painter, then crew leader, and ultimately to managing multiple crews across the region.
By 2004, Roberto knew it was time to step out on his own and serve clients directly with the values and quality standards he had cultivated over decades. And so, RB Painting Company was born, proudly serving Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville. Since then, the company has steadily grown into Bluebell Painting Co., known throughout the region for its multi-layered service approach, technical expertise, and deeply personal commitment to customer satisfaction.
Roberto is a proud husband and father who lives in this beautiful community with his wife, two children, and their loyal family dog, Charlie. His family roots in the area—and his personal pride in every project—ensure that every brushstroke is backed by care and craftsmanship.
